This morning I woke up early, but Shawn couldnt do the same. LOL. Then went for breakfast. Oh yeah Bang Kiat just reminded me that Mark the Monkey in the Aboriginal village attacked Chien Tat. He provoked th e monkey and threw the passionfruit at it. Well actually at the tree then the monkey went to eat it. Bad day for Tat yesterday, if you remember. After a briefing we went to see the Stadhuys (Dutch Sqaure), St Paul's Church, the Governor's Museum. and he A'Fomosa, which incidentally was partly saved by Stamford Raffles. We also heard about the miraculous story of St Francis Xavier, who was a priest spreading Catholicsm, to cut a long story short, his body is still intact today, and when they cut of his right hand to send to Rome, it was still bleeding a few 100 years after his death. incidentlly, his statue at St Paul's church is missin a hand. this is due to a storm which hit a tree and the tree broke off the hand, after it was cut off. We also visited the Baba Nonya nuseum, where I got an insight to the Peranakan culture and their lifestyle. Their art was intricate and very beautiful. Lunch was rather bad. tasted weird. for once no one touched the food. David was doing his duty of saying grace as the so called 'reverend'. Went back to my room afterwards and go taupoked twice. Sigh. I hate **** I shall not say it for my own safety. Sigh mafia -.-... We also did our Batik Art, which was really fun, at first tried to do everything nicely, but then gave up due to the absorbing of the ink. then followed Beng Teong's method of splatter and shaking it. now its a nice gradient of colour. many followed the way of the BT. Lol. well done. i like mine anyway. At night went to Jonker Street to do shopping for our charity Bazaar. we bought handphone pouches and zip pouches. buying was very smooth, with bang kiat doing alot of barganing. but matthew wang was a pain. dunno which idiot put him in our group. He was drifiting off all the time. and kept going on about stuff we werent talkking about. all in all , SUPER IRRITATING AND LIVING IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE. Good riddance when we finally were done coz no one in my group couldt stand him. sigh.. ok end my posting here.
